Kitesurf in Prasonisi, Rhodes, Greece(Greek island) Paros weather & climate: all about temperatures, precipitation, sunshine, snow. INFORMATION FOR ORGANIZING YOUR TRIP TO PAROS ACCOMMODATIONS: at the moment there are many hotels, rooms and Airbnb options available in the area near the.Kitesurf in Drepano, Greece(Greek mainland).Looking for another kitesurf spot in Greece?Ĭheck out these Greek kite spots that I wrote about: explore Paros and Antiparos, the beautiful white-blue houses, go shopping in Antiparos in the little boutiques, enjoy the beaches.fitness in paroikia: The Gym seems to be the most modern one but they don’t offer group classes during high season, Fitness Factory is a bit further up and offers group classes also during the summer.yoga: Tao’s center (close to Naoussa, Drop in is 15 Euro, they offer Pilates, Yoga, Meditation and Talks) Art of Touch (Antiparos, every day from 9 – 10.30, it’s really nice on a rooftop and the space is limited to 8 spots so make sure to book in advance, Drop In price is 12 Euro. There may be one or two rainy days in October, but the island gets most of its sparse rainfall between November and February. After 5 they only serve cocktails and drinks. In May, June, September and October there will be more than 10 hours of sunshine per day and the average maximum temperature will be above 20 degrees. Sousouro: Until 5 pm they have a nice little selection of healthy food and smoothies.Kafeneio Palio Agora: If you’re into simply Greek starters you’ll love the homemade dishes of this simple restaurant. It’s a HUGE bakery which also has a nice juice bar, salad bar and has some warm dishes. Ragoussis: if you want a quick and casual bite this is your way to go.Their salads are really good and big (and basically any of the starters )) Alea and the Souvlaki Place next door belong together, they have nice food, you can sit at the harbor.Corallis: everything here is really good and fresh, yummy seafood, try the huge Coralli salad with seafood or the Calamari stuffed with Feta.Blender: Yummy Smoothies, Bowls, Salads and healthy Sweets.Pantelis: good seafood, view on the harbor.Make a reservation, this restaurant is always booked out during high season Yam: healthy and vegan/vegetarian options, nice vibe in the restaurant, not that cheap but nice.Yorgi’s: simple and good Greek food for good prices. So this is just a small highlight of the ones I went to and really liked: Restaurants Antiparos Mykonos and Santorini have longer seasons than the other islands, and nearly everything will still be open there in October. The island has so many good restaurants and options that it’s hard to pick a few. Syros is the administrative capital of the Cyclades, and Paros also an island with a large permanent population. Folegandros has a similar population, and Delos is an island with an archeological site but no one permanently living there. I have been to all the Cyclades islands on your list, but am most familiar with Antiparos, which has a year round population of about 1,000. Mykonos and Santorini would be better in October unless you are looking for nightlife. My preference is to be on smaller islands when they are not busy but there is still a little buzz, and that means September. clothing, jewellery, souvenirs, will be closing. Also, many of the shops catering for tourists, e.g. It may be that many of the more popular restaurants on the islands (except for Mykonos and Santorini) will be in the process of closing, or already closed, at the beginning of October. This town is 11 km from Parikia and used to be the capital of Paros during the Middle Ages.

Lefkes is a mountainous town that couldn’t get any more Greek if it tried. You will certainly be able to find places to eat, just as MmePerdu did, in October. Visiting the small town of Lefkes was one of my favorite things to do in Paros. Whichever month you choose you will have a wonderful time. As the month goes on, daytime high temperatures approach those heights several days later into the 18-19C (mid-60s F) range, in contrast to the very low-mid 22-23C (70s F) early in the month. That’s the advantage of a small ship cruise, enabling it to visit islands that can’t cope with large cruise liners. Parisian temperatures in September tend to be comfortable for daytime travel hours as well as cooler during evening hours and at night. Just as I thought, your itinerary is mostly less populated islands, which is the kind of cruise I would prefer.
